What’s included

Training clinics are made up of various elements which allows each team to have a unique and fitting experience. These are the main elements of a training clinic, but certainly not all we are able to offer.

Accommodation

Youth teams stay in hostel style accommodation, which is perfectly suited to travelling sports teams. Basic yet comfortable rooms for 2 – 5 players with en-suite bathroom facilities and many guest areas make sure the stay is easygoing. The players can feel at home in an open and inviting atmosphere where they have freedom to move around independently. Meals are served in a dining hall, with fresh, home-cooked meals on a full board basis.

Transport

Teams are met at Zurich International Airport (preferred), and transferred to the accommodation by coach bus. All daily transport is carried out by the same coach bus, except for the odd train or tram ride into the city of Freiburg. Return transfers to the airport are once again by coach bus.

Training sessions

Teams will participate in +/- 8 training sessions at one of several immaculate training facilities on the outskirts of Freiburg. Well-equipped change rooms with showers are available for after the training session. The team coaches will also have board sessions with our coaching staff, with the goal of sustainably transferring the knowledge gained on the clinic.

Matches

Teams can expect to play 2-3 matches against local club / academy teams depending on level. The experience is great for players from both teams, as they are exposed to different playing styles and footballing cultures.

Excursions

Situated in the deep south-west of Germany, and bordered by Switzerland, France and the Black Forest, the Freiburg area has many excursion options to offer teams. From world-class theme parks, to indoor or outdoor water parks, fun sporting activities, shopping in the medieval old city, a decent selection of restaurants and coffee shops, taking a relaxing hike in the Black Forest directly behind the accommodation, or a stroll along the river – there is much to choose from.

Football specific excursions

Depending on season, and length of tour, a highlight which players love is the FIFA Football Museum, situated in Zurich. The home of football, this excursion usually wraps up the 10 day stay and leaves the players with impressions that last a lifetime.

Last but not least, and highly season and availability dependent, an outing to a professional match in the Swiss Superliga, the German Bundesliga or the French Ligue 1, can be arranged.
